The mechanic assists in the removal of molds and tooling and prepares the machine to receive the next mold. The Set-up Mechanic continually works with the Process, Maintenance, and Production departments to troubleshoot, and correct production errors as needed to ensure quality products. Summary of Job Duties: Review production sheets to determine what products are scheduled for production and assigned machines, identifying proper mold, tooling, and components needed. Prepare for changes in the production schedule, pulling all materials i.e.; molds, tools and other setup components and install the identified mold and tooling components. Remove mold, tooling, and other components after a complete production run, and prepare all parts for proper storage.
