Job description

Overview GovCIO is seeking an experienced Testing Lead to support one of our cross-functional delivery teams. This position is 100% remote within the DC Metropolitan area with occasional on-site meetings. Responsibilities: Testing Leadership: - Lead and manage all testing activities across the software development lifecycle to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions. - Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with program objectives and release schedules. - Oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing efforts. - Establish and enforce quality assurance standards, best practices, and testing methodologies. - Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Development teams to ensure requirements are testable, clearly defined, and aligned with acceptance criteria. - Manage the defect lifecycle process, including tracking, prioritization, root cause analysis, and resolution validation. - Provide leadership and mentorship to QA/test engineers, fostering continuous improvement and accountability. - Support and guide test automation strategy development, including sel...
