AI Acoustic Engineer (m/w/d) – UAV Detection, Localization & Signal Processing

Job description

Your mission: - Develop and deploy AI-driven acoustic sensing systems for UAV detection, classification, localization, and tracking - Design, train, and extend custom neural network architectures for analyzing acoustic signatures, noise patterns, and audio anomalies - Optimize real-time audio signal processing pipelines for UAV swarm coordination, defense systems, and stealth detection - Apply microphone array processing, acoustic beamforming, Doppler analysis, and advanced noise reduction techniques to improve UAV audio sensing performance - Lead hands-on efforts in data collection, labeling, augmentation, and training for complex, custom acoustic datasets - Integrate AI-powered acoustic models into multi-modal sensor fusion frameworks (Radar, RF, EO/IR, LiDAR) - Ensure compliance with defense and aerospace standards (MIL-STD, ITAR, NATO STANAGs, IEC acoustic systems) Your profile: - Extensive, hands-on experience in AI-driven audio signal processing, acoustics, or acoustic sensing - Deep knowledge of neural network models for sound applications, including detection, classification, and localization - Demonstrated ability to design, modify, and extend network architectures, not li...
