Job Duties & Responsibility Job Title: Irrigation Technician: Compensation: $20.00 an hour: Job Status: Full-time: Reports To: Superintendent: Prepared by: Regional Manager: Job Overview: Full-time Description: Summary: Job Summary: Responsible for the daily and weekly general maintenance of assigned irrigation equipment. This position requires a good understanding of water management principles and irrigation systems. Requirements: - Inspecting and testing irrigation systems to identify and resolve problems - Installing and programming irrigation controllers, timers, and rain sensors - Repairing or replacing broken or damaged parts of irrigation systems, including heads, valves, pipes, and timers - Regularly checking system water pressure and adjust as necessary - Performing routine maintenance on irrigation systems to ensure efficient operation - Designing and planning irrigation layouts as per the landscape needs - Keeping inventory of irrigation supplies and parts - Adhering to safety regulations and standards while working - Recommending upgrades or modifications to improve system efficiency - Documenting all maintenance and repair services performed, and reporting any larger...
