Description The Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences and the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin have an opening for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position in Computational Medicine. We are particularly interested in recruiting a colleague whose research program combines mathematical, computational, and physical approaches to solving problems in medicine. Example areas include, but are not limited to, medical imaging, neurology, pediatrics, psychiatry, cardiovascular science, and oncology. The Oden Institute ( https://www.oden.utexas.edu/ ) is a unique interdisciplinary research and educational organization focused on transforming science, engineering, and medicine through the development and application of computation. Research programs at the Oden Institute are diverse and build upon the mathematical foundations for predictive science, data science, machine learning, and (in particular) physics-based modeling using state-of-the-art computing platforms.
