Description MEDEX Northwest is the Physician Assistant (PA) Program at the University of Washington (UW) and is a section of the Department of Family Medicine in the School of Medicine. MEDEX has five campuses located at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA; the University of Alaska in Anchorage, AK; Kona, Hawaii; UW Seattle, and UW Tacoma. This position / appointment is based in the Kona, HI campus . Position FTE: 0.6 - 0.8: The base salary range for this position will be $8334-$10834 @ 1.0 FTE per month ($100,008-$130,008 annually @ 1.0 FTE) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Position Overview: Primary responsibilities include classroom and online teaching, curriculum development, co- chairing/coordinating at least one course, and advisin g and evaluating students. The lecturer functions as the program’s teaching faculty at the Kona MEDEX campus. The lecturer is an experienced PA faculty member who is broadly responsible for instructing PA students in the classroom .
