Job Summary: The Procurement Category Specialist supports the development and execution of category specific procurement strategies to optimize spending, strengthen supplier partnerships, and enhance the delivery of goods and services. This role assists in managing key spend categories by coordinating supplier activities, performing spend analysis, and supporting sourcing initiatives that align with organizational goals. Qualifications: Education Required: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field Licenses/Certifications Required: - None Work Experience Required: - 3+ years of experience in procurement, category coordination, vendor management, or sourcing. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CPSM, CSCP). - Analytical experience supporting supplier evaluation and spend reporting. - Experience with spend analysis and category management. - Familiarity with e-procurement platforms and tools. - Healthcare industry experience.
