Classification Title: CLIN AST/ASO/FULL PROF Job Description: The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville is seeking a candidate to fill a part-time to full- time position for the Division of Forensic Pediatrics and Child Protection. This position will be a non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/ Associate/ Full Professor. This position will report to the Chief of the Division of Forensics and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. The successful candidate will provide the following duties and responsibilities: With more than 6,200 faculty and staff, UF Health in Jacksonville is the largest UF campus outside of Gainesville. UF Health physicians offer primary care and specialty services in practices throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, tallying more than 650,000 outpatient visits and more than 40,000 inpatient admissions annually. - Provide medical evaluations of children suspected to be abused or neglected. - Participate in training and other professional development for team staff and medical personnel, as directed. - Participate in screening...
