Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Silicon Photonics R&D Intern to join our Silicon Photonics team for Summer 2026. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in design and characterization of silicon photonic integrated circuits and work alongside industry professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects that support our team and company objectives. . Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Design and optimize photonics components in various material platforms - Characterize integrated photonics components fabricated in various material platforms - Analyze data and prepare reports - Include any expected presentation, final report, or capstone deliverable Education & Experience: - Education Level Required: Bachelor's Rising Senior (completed 3 years by start) - Majors: Electrical Engineering - Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date. Skills & Other Requirements: - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed. - Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
