Pay: $35/HR to $40/HR The pay listed is the hourly rate for this position as outlined by the collective bargaining agreement. Benefit Information: This is a union position and as such will include union benefits as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement. The Technician completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs. The Commercial Door Technician installs, repairs, and maintains a wide range of commercial door systems, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. This role combines mechanical skill, problem-solving, customer service, and on-site fieldwork. Key Responsibilities: - Install, service, and repair commercial door systems, including: - Overhead sectional doors - Rolling steel doors - Automatic doors - Hollow metal doors and frames - Access control hardware - Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues with door systems. - Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks. - Replace or repair components such as springs, cables, motors, tracks, hinges, and operators. - Ensure all work meets safety regulations, manufacturer specifications, and building codes. - Communicate clea...
