Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Waterloo Medical Center (Peds): Full-Time Day Shift - 64 hours biweekly (8hr shifts) Provides occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to patients to facilitate and maximize functioning level as prescribed by physician. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Administers treatment techniques competently. Conducts patient assessment. Develops treatment plans for patients. Communicates relevant patient information. Provides information on safe transferring/mobility techniques. - Supervises and delegates duties to support personnel. - Supervises students and volunteers. - Based on principles of growth and development, provides care appropriate to the age related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned unit. - Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
