Summary/Objective As an Operations Engineer, you will be part of the Operations team and be accountable for ensuring uptime of the production environment. You are organized, self-motivated, a team player, and are able to actively participate in the exchange of ideas with peers and management. You will have the opportunity to work independently as well as with a great team of Operational Analysts. You will work on important and exciting projects that will shape the future of Paymentus! Essential Functions/ Responsibilities: - Manage and drive critical operations tasks within the organization - Respond to, research, and resolve production problems in accordance with Paymentus policy. - Monitor the production platform using tools such as Cacti, Nagios, ELK. - Update and patch infrastructure in accordance with security patching policy. - Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. - Assist with back-end provisioning of new customers. - Participate in the weekly on-call production support rotation. - Research and promote new technology, build Proof of Concept systems. - Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures while performing job duties.
