Maintenance Technician

Job description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, controls, exhaust equipment, and other building equipment in a facility. The Technician must demonstrate professional competence and attention to detail to ensure that all systems function at optimal levels, promoting a safe and comfortable environment for all building occupants. Job Responsibilities: Basic paver repairs (resetting) Using a concrete grinder: Basic TPO roof repair (paint and caulk) Resetting commercial toilet. Basic electric (light switches, photo eye/timers) C onduct ongoing maintenance of HVAC equipment as part of the facility's preventive maintenance program. - Respond to tenant service requests and build positive tenant relationships through prompt and courteous responses. - Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment such as plumbing and electrical systems as directed by the supervisor. - Maintain computerized or manual logs detailing preventive work performed on equipment. - Assist in inventory management by helping order stock and maintain supplies. - Respond promptly to emergency situations and client concerns. - Review tena...
