Job Description Hours: Full-Time – 35 Hours: Work Location: 30-30 Thomson Avenue, LIC, NY 11101 The Office of Community Outreach & Notification (OCON) is responsible for coordinating outreach to 59 community boards, local elected officials, civic groups, merchant organizations, community institutions and the public. OCON provides communities with project information and notification of the City’s Street infrastructure projects. OCON is a participant in pre-construction meetings, providing input developed through fieldwork and makes recommendations to identify and lessen adverse community impacts. Working closely with the Deputy Director and Director of OCON, the selected candidate will be attending and participating in various DDC meetings and project-specific community meetings; Monitor consultant CCL outreach tasks to ensure DDC standards and expected consultant project outreach deliverables.
