Warehouse Receiving Summary To deliver more than is expected to the stores by providing a positive first impression, determining actual needs, delivering real solutions, adding value where I can, and leaving the stores with an excellent impression of the warehouse. As a Warehouse Receiving Lead, this is what I do: Basic Warehouse Receiving Procedures – Responsible for unloading delivery trailers using a sit down and rider jack forklift. Also responsible for counting all product unloaded from trailer and signing out the delivery driver. Paying close attention and making sure that the product is in good saleable condition and that the expiration date is within an acceptable range. Also coordinating and communicating with warehouse stockers when product is ready to be put away to prime pulling locations or secondary back stock locations once it has been received and posted to inventory. Warehouse Operations - I support warehouse operations including department readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, department financial goals and objectives, department cleanliness, and safe use of equipment and tools.
