Working/Functional Title Assistant Director, Athletic Performance Coach: Position Summary: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assist the Assistant AD / Director of Athletic Performance/Olympic Sports as assigned in creating a championship strength and conditioning training environment and culture for men's and women's sports. - Assist the Director of Athletic Performance/Olympic Sports with implementing sport-specific programs based on peer-reviewed, evidence-based protocols to enhance the fitness, strength, power, and speed indices of the intercollegiate athletes in the assigned sport(s). - Assist the Director of Athletic Performance/Olympic Sports in implementing a motivational environment where athletes strive for consistent elite-level performances. - Assist with the implementation of body-fat reduction/lean body mass enhancement strategies in accordance with sports medicine and dietetics staff. - Work closely with sport coaches to monitor athlete performance readiness.
