Job description

In partnership with Tampa General Hospital (TGH) Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI), the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences, Section of General & Preventive Cardiology, is seeking an academic electrophysiologist for a full-time position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. This is a full-time, 12-month salaried faculty appointment and includes attending staff privileges at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and affiliated hospitals. There is a desire for candidates with a strong interest in and commitment to teaching. Appointment at the rank of Associate Professor requires a minimum of five years of continuing and productive service as an Assistant Professor, or the equivalent. Appointment at the rank of Full Professor involves a minimum of five years of ongoing and productive service as an Associate Professor, or the equivalent. MINIMUM: Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
