We are searching for a Clinical Nurse Coordinator -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will manage daily clinical and personnel activities for the Department. Participates and coordinates the delivery of high quality, family centered and developmentally appropriate patient care. Collaborates with ancillary departments to ensure timely and appropriate care. Think you’ve got what it takes? Job Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible and accountable for the daily care coordination of patients within area of clinical subspecialty. Utilizes evidence-based nursing interventions during clinical visits, telephone encounters, and electronic communications according to state regulations, regulatory agency standards, and organizational policies and procedures. Determines which standards of care and practice apply to the patient; coordinates and communicates this information to other health care team members, in order to meet patient needs. Coordinates visits with physicians, ensures appropriate consultations in hospital by working with the coordinators.
