JOB SUMMARY: Arrange for the efficient and orderly admission, scheduling, rescheduling and discharge of physical therapy patients. Ensure that the patient’s information is collected, entered into hospital computer system accurately, and that all patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. Interviews incoming patient or representative and enters information required for admission into computer. Distributes appropriate information to all ancillary departments. Responsible for all day to day office operations under the direction of aforementioned supervisor(s). Other job duties as described below.
