Overview/ Job Responsibilities Sev1Tech is looking for a Data Engineer for the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Ordnance Information System (OIS) to provide technical expertise on a mission-critical program whose purpose is to develop, modernize, enhance, operate, and maintain services for OIS mission critical systems. As Data Engineer you will work on a team consisting of Data and Cloud Architects, Engineers, and Administrators and focus on designing, building, deploying, and maintaining data architectures and databases in the AWS GovCloud environment. This position is on-site in a secured space 5 days/week and can be filled in either Mechanicsburg, PA, OR Yorktown, VA. Primary Responsibilities: The Data Engineer will be responsible for the following: - Develop, construct, test, and maintain high performance, scalable, and stable data architectures for OIS, such as databases and large-scale processing systems, and migrate data from on-premises databases to cloud-based solutions, transforming the data as required. - Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations, ensure that data pipelines are scalable, repeatable, and secure. - Implement and m...
