EHS Manager

Job description

The Site EHS Manager develops, implements, and monitors company environmental health and safety (EH&S) programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations. The Site EHS Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, management, and regulatory agencies to maintain and enhance the site's environmental, health, and safety standards. This position is essential to the health of our employees and our company and will be responsible for regular audits, training, and coaching on best practices across all levels. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs to ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and ISO regulations. - Design strategies to continuously improve safety performance and foster a safety culture within the manufacturing site. - Coordinate and execute corrective and preventative action plans to close any gaps found through internal and external auditing programs. - Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing operations.
