Position Summary: Join the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI)! We are seeking qualified candidates to apply for our Manufacturing Process Engineer opening. This position is located at the Advanced Technology and Training Center (ATTC) – Dayton, OH at the University of Dayton Research Institute. It provides process engineering support for aircraft and vehicle sustainment technology development and transition including vehicle maintenance, aircraft maintenance and ground support equipment. Under the leadership of a technical leader, this role will: - Manage the overall manufacturing process at the Dayton ATTC. - Evaluate processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. - Work with manufacturing team leads and operators to assist in existing processes. - Create process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates. - Execute Lean Projects on the process to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Ensure operations comply with safety and quality standards. - Manage maintenance and preventative maintenance of all equipment within the process. - Develop standardized operating instructions within the process (TO’s, standard forms, procedures, routers, les...
