Senior Property Licensing officer Permanent: Grade C- £35,412 - £44,075: Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: About the role: Birmingham City Council is recruiting Senior Property Licensing Officers to support the delivery of our private rented sector licensing functions. This is a key frontline regulatory role, working to improve housing standards, protect tenants, and ensure compliance with the Housing Act 2004. You will be responsible for assessing licence applications, investigating non‑compliance, preparing statutory notices, and contributing to enforcement activity where required. The role combines strong regulatory knowledge with customer‑focused communication and evidence‑based decision making.
