Position Title : Professional Learning Specialist (PLS) – Learning & Performance Services Division : Learning & Performance Services Reports To : Coordinator, Assigned Content Area FLSA Status : Exempt: Salary Schedule : Teacher: Work Days : 190: Provide implementation guidance, professional learning, and coordination for the assigned K-12 content areaprograms in order to provide each student enrolled in the district with high quality instruction in the areas of focus. Qualifications: - Contribute to the development, articulation, evaluation, revision, and implementation of the K-12 curriculum as appropriate, in collaboration with other central office personnel. - Provide guidance and support to building administration and teacher leaders in matters pertaining to associated educational programs, including instructional and planning observation, cycles of feedback, and guidance for next steps. - Implement assigned and designated projects with cross-departmental and cross-divisional program support staff and administrators. - Assist with the collection and analysis of data to improve assigned programs and academic achievement, to include qualitative observational data, standardized t...
