Goldstrike - Refinery Technician

Job description

Position Description: Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Refinery Technician to join the Goldstrike Process team. The Refinery Technician is responsible for the recovery of gold from a pregnant solution into a gold bearing sludge, removing contaminants from the sludge, and producing gold dore bars. They will ensure safe and efficient operation of various processing circuits/equipment including but not limited to: electrowinning, retort furnaces, induction furnaces, off gas/gas handling, reagent handling and addition, solution balance, sample collection, data recording, retrieval of sample data, proper handling of potentially hazardous chemicals, monitoring/controlling water flows, pumps, valves, piping and other equipment, making calculations and adjustments as needed to maintain operating parameters within limits.
