Description PURPOSE OF POSITION: Reporting directly to the Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing preventative maintenance and repair of equipment within the rubber mixing and molding operations. The role ensures equipment reliability, production continuity, and safety compliance through expert troubleshooting and adherence to mechanical and electrical standards. Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Schedule may vary based on business needs. Available shifts include: - 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM - 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Preventive Maintenance : Executes scheduled maintenance on mixers, extruders, molding presses, conveyors, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime. - Troubleshooting & Repairs : Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues quickly and accurately. - Schematics: Able to read, interpret, and apply various forms of schematics such as electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic. - Fabrication and Mechanical: Apt at running conduit, SCH80 PVC, and capable of welding as needed. - Equipment Optimization: Suggests and implements improvements to increase...
