W ORK LOCATION: San Luis Obispo, CA FLSA STATUS: Exempt: S ALARY RANGE: The anticipated salary range for this role is $85,000 to $120,000 annually. This range reflects a good faith estimate based on the targeted level for the role and typical compensation benchmarks across U.S. locations. Actual compensation may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographical location, and internal alignment. SUMMARY: A Production Engineer works to bridge the engineering and production teams, helping transition components, projects, and testing from ideation to manufacturing. Production Engineers work to develop, evaluate, and improve production processes considering engineering requirements, costing, materials, efficiency, and design constraints. To be successful as a production engineer, you should be an independent thinker and keen problem-solver. Outstanding production engineers can diagnose problems, train staff, and provide effective recommendations.
