Aggregate Dispatcher

Job description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: · Field phone calls regarding aggregate deliveries in the Portland Metro market · Monitor and coordinate jobsite delivery and truck activity through computer terminal · Schedule and fulfill aggregate deliveries out of 14 locations · Acquire additional trucking from 3rd party customers to fulfill delivery responsibilities when needed · Work closely with our Trucking Coordinator to ensure internal trucking capabilities and availability · Track trucking round times to minimize haul costs and maximize profitability · Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed · Review 3rd party trucking timecards for timely payment to vendors · Communicate with and assist Scale operators with ongoing orders · Additional duties as assigned by manager Minimum qualifications: · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Knowledge of the construction industry in the Portland Metro market · Experience using computer applications (APEX, Excel, Smartsheets, etc) · Ability to work in high stress environments and with multiple personality types · Ability to time manage and execute multiple tasks at a time · Advanced problem-solvin...
