Job description

The MRB Stress Engineer assesses and approves structural repairs for non-conformities in aerospace components. They perform stress analysis to ensure repairs meet safety, certification, and airworthiness requirements. The role is critical in maintaining structural integrity while minimizing production delays. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze non-conformities and assess structural impacts on aircraft components. - Develop and validate repair solutions while ensuring compliance with certification and regulatory standards (FAR, EASA, FAA, etc.). - Perform static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses to justify repairs. - Review and approve MRB dispositions for production and in-service aircraft. - Collaborate with design, materials, and manufacturing engineers to optimize repair strategies. - Support production teams in resolving structural issues efficiently. - Ensure adherence to industry’s best practices and company engineering guidelines. - Document engineering analyses, reports, and justifications for audit and certification purposes - Understand AS 9100 standard requirements related to the responsibilities of this position.
