Job description

Description The Receiving Supervisor has a very important role in ensuring product integrity of seed received at the plant. Essential job functions may include but not limited to: · Performing work activities safely and in compliance with company Quality Management System. · Verifying hilum purity, moisture content, contaminants and mechanical damage by performing a soak test on every truck load of seed received prior to unloading · Thorough cleaning of all equipment in order to maintain product integrity · Safely climb stairs and/or ladders to monitor and adjust equipment · Ensure product integrity by avoiding variety mixtures in receiving bins · Assist in coordinating seed arrival from on-farm storage · Assists the Conditioning Supervisor and Conditioning Operator in the conditioning tower as needed · Lead other employees in the receiving area · Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area About Remington Seeds: Founded in 1984, Remington Seeds is a leader in seed production and one of the world’s largest third-party producers of corn, soybeans, wheat, sorghum, and sunflowers.
