Classification Title: Maintenance Manager Classification Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and 2 years of appropriate experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Description: Task/Staff Management Develops preventative maintenance programs for the departmentally maintained infrastructure and equipment (De-I water systems, ice makers, autoclaves, fume hoods, etc). This includes documenting of standard operating procedures (SOPs) within departmental Microsoft Teams channel regarding intervals of when maintenance is required/needed, what type of service to perform, who to conduct the service (staff or supervisor), training of subordinate staff on how to perform this maintenance, location of equipment, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) needed to safely perform this maintenance. From SOPs, establishes daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual tasks for all maintenance staff to perform to ensure infrastructure and equipment is working properly to extend useful life.
