The Recreation Therapist is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents and ignites the warmth of human connection. As a Recreation Therapist your typical day will impact in the following ways: - Providing and assessing for recreation therapy activities including outings in accordance with established policy, physician’s orders, and resident plan of care and within the scope of practice. - Developing and sustaining a plan of care to meet residents’ assessed needs based on individual strengths, needs and interest of residents to establish importance and direction of therapeutic recreation intervention. - Ensuring that thorough evaluation of assessments, intervention plans, program development and program delivery is consistently being completed to ensure the efficacy of recreation services. - Guiding recreation therapy assistants ensuring proper documentation is completed MDS/RAI, Activity Pro; observes f...
