Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: CT Tech - Outpatient Cardiology Office - Clifton Park, NY - Part Time Outpatient CT Tech for Cardiac Imaging location at 1735 US 9. Evaluates requests for appropriateness, refers concerns to coordinator and/or radiologist. Instructs patients as to the nature of the exam being performed. Effectively communicates information regarding post procedures. IMAGE QUALITY: Selects appropriate technical factors for requested imaging exam. Demonstrates accurate positioning technique according to department protocol. Demonstrates proper use of positioning devices and other equipment necessary to provide safe, accurate and complete exams. Assists in the instruction of new personnel.
