Responsibilities: Requirements: - In this position you will start out testing and sampling construction material in the field. After becoming proficient in sampling and testing and after demonstrating the ability to work independently and coach others in sampling and testing you will be given the opportunity, should you desire, to be trained and receive industry recognized certifications in inspection. - As a Construction Testing/Sampling Technician you will be trained and receive industry recognized certifications to perform the following services on a project site: concrete sampling and testing, soil sampling and density testing and Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) sampling and density testing. - As an Inspector you will be on road and/or bridge construction sites observing and documenting the contractor’s work operation to verify their compliance with the design plans and specifications.
