Description The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority is seeking to hire full-time Airport Communications Center Specialists with the responsibility to perform duties to monitor designated on-property communications and coordinate daily operational activities between various departments, as well as tenant stakeholders and the public at Syracuse Hancock International Airport . This position will be responsible for receiving and recording work orders, assist with communicating/coordinating airport operational activity, assist with aircraft gate assignments, and assist with airport related non-emergency/emergency communications and coordination. The position will receive and appropriately direct calls and information from Authority employees, tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders onsite at the Syracuse Regional Airport. This position may be responsible for relaying general and emergency notices to the appropriate parties, which may lead to a response of Airport Security, ARFF, Operations and/or Maintenance staff and maintain communications with defined Airport management staff, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
