Program Manager Location: Ventura, California This position is contingent upon contract award. Duties: - Providing supervision of team of 20+ staff, including Naval Architect, ship crew, and program admin team. - Serving as point-of-contact among government officials, VETS leadership, and the team. - Educating potential Navy and other users of the M/V Independence of what is possible and promoting its usage, including helping them connect with applicable Navy leads. - Directs the overall operations, maintenance, repair, administration and logistics of M/V Independence and associated contract-specified systems for the Naval Facilities Command Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center. - Provides oversight and management coordination of the technical operations of the M/V Independence, including office administration, execution of technical requirements, interfacing with the Government customer, and business development. - Reviews task order requests and prepares technical and cost proposals for the customer operations. - Manages the execution of tasks within proposed budgets and schedules. - Oversees vendor and subcontractors ensuring quality control and adherence to work schedul...
