TITLE: Electric Technician A POSITION OBJECTIVE: This position will be under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, ensures the correct operation, repairs, and preventative maintenance schedules of the office, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. This position is for a highly skilled and experienced technician that will perform tasks to install, maintain and/or repair plant production machinery such as plastic resin handling systems, co-extrusion cast film lines, pallet wrapping, thermoforming machines, and paper bag converting equipment. QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or equivalent required - Industrial maintenance degree or similar from a state certified technical school or community college is required. Completion of a 4-year electrical apprenticeship can be substituted - Advanced knowledge of industrial electrical components – relays, timers, contactors, proximity switches, etc. - Must be able to read multimeters and amp meters. - A background in industrial electronics and troubleshooting is required - Experience with PLC controls and variable speed drives is preferred - Basic computer knowledge - Must have good communication skills - Proficiency with PLC con...
