VCA Animal Specialty Group is a busy 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in Los Angeles, approximately 10 minutes from Downtown LA! Location: 4641 Colorado Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90039 Schedule: 40 hours, 2 pm-12:30 am, 4 days, 10-hour shift Salary: $ 30 - $ 38 / hour We are looking for a highly experienced Registered Veterinary Technician , or those who qualify for the VTNE, with strong skills and knowledge in Specialty Surgery, ICU, ER, and Anesthesia for critical emergency surgery intake, stabilization, surgery, and recovery to post care. - Compensation dependent on experience, schedule, and position Requirements for positions on our teams: Proficient in emergency and anesthesia Valid RVT license or be VTNE eligible Strong skills and knowledge of the following: IVC placement Venipuncture and U/S guided cystos: Radiographs (spinal, thorax, abdomen, extremities, etc.) Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery for stable and critical Emergency and Neurology patients Anesthesia for advanced imaging (MRIs/CTs) and neurosurgeries Ventilators: Triage and Patient Treatments: Calculating and preparing medications for administration (including boluses, CRIs, and blood transfusion...
