Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Registered Radiology Tech for our Outpatient Imaging office in White Oak, MD who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Registered Radiologic Technologist you will: - Performs diagnostic imaging studies per protocol. Properly identifies patients, reviews orders and selects diagnostic x-ray protocol in order to maximize quality and safe patient care. - Accurately performs documentation in all computer systems applicable to diagnostic x-ray/DEXA (HIS, RIS, PACS,). - Monitors and assists patients, before during and after examinations. Maintain a clean and safe environment. - Knowledgeable and practices ALARA principles including proper shielding of patients. - Maintain patient, organizational and employee confidentiality. - Applies the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients we serve i.e., pediatrics, geriatric and adolescent patients. - Receive patients, explains procedure...
