Location: Cleveland, OH Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for a Quality Engineer at Cleveland Works Facility. The Quality Engineer will lead Quality Systems Management program at Cleveland Works to ensure the plant meets the requirements of the Quality Management Process and applicable external quality standards. The Quality Engineer will also support other aspects of the Quality Department as needed. The ideal candidate will have prior steel industry experience or Engineering degree, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with complex operations. Summary of Responsibilities: Plan and conduct Quality Audits of operating departments and support disciplines. Lead product/process improvement team efforts. Maintain calibration system and oversee internal and external calibration of measuring equipment. Perform and document Measurement System Analysis (gage studies). Prepare PPAP documentation and maintain PPAP system. Prepare and assist with maintenance of core quality documents including FMEA, Control Plans and Process Flow Diagrams.
