Minimum Qualifications: - Baccalaureate Degree in a Health Related Field (Nursing, Microbiology, Public Health, Medical Technologist). - Incumbent(s) within position that are a Registered Nurse must maintain their current licensure as a RN in the State of New Jersey required. - Certification Board in Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology (CBIC) required. - Minimum four years of experience in acute care, public health, or other patient-related clinical experience with two years’ experience in epidemiology and infection control required. - Incumbents must be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic microbiology. - Computer proficiency within Microsoft Windows applications required. - Demonstrates a strong understanding of spreadsheet analysis/applications required. - Good organizational, written, verbal, and communication skills are essential.
