Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of more than 3,000 satellites in low Earth orbit. Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The Ground Infra Service team defines and manage the delivery of Leo ground infrastructure globally. We facilitate the collaboration and communication across the owners to build ground capacity through Ground Gateway Terminals (GGT) and the necessary infrastructures for when the business needs them. For the service launch and planned service expansions this translates to 450+ sites across 60+ countries needed by 2030.
