Description American Plastics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household & garage storage and commercial cleaning end-markets. We are searching for a Process Technician Night Shift for our Sycamore, OH. This position will report to the Production Manager. Responsibilities: - Monitor and maintain standard cycle times and part quality - Be able to understand and communicate the information provided within the job packet pertaining to specification sheet, standard routing, B.O.M.’s, scrap reports and quality requirements - Be able to identify all resins used in molding operation including regrind and the associated usage percentage - Must understand and operate the operator interface ‘CRT’ screen on computer-controlled presses, including all screens required to control the process - Must be able to establish a new process, do mold sets, Robot Programming and start a machine based upon settings in Mold Books/QR Code. - Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of hot runner systems, Valve Gates, and standard sprue molds - Trouble shoot issues on Injection Molding machines and Robo...
