Overview Kimley-Horn is seeking a Landscape Architect with 4+ years of experience to join the Orlando, FL office! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities: You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on a wide range of project types — from mixed-use and multifamily developments to parks, urban streetscapes, and civic destinations. You’ll take design ideas from concept through construction, contributing to every stage of the process. - Lead and support the design, documentation, and delivery of public and private sector projects. - Develop creative, technically sound site planning and landscape design solutions — with a strong understanding of grading, drainage, and constructability. - Prepare and review construction documents, details, and specifications with an emphasis on quality control and quality assurance. - Participate in the construction administration phase, including submittal reviews, RFIs, site visits, and coordination with contractors and clients. - Manage tasks, schedules, and budgets while coordinating across disciplines. - Mentor junior designers and contribute to team growth and training. - Engage directly with clients and city representatives during de...
