Call Angeline M at (925) 658-3686 for a quick phone screen Job Title: CDLA Driver Tester (Vehicle Operator): Location: Mountain View, CA (In-person): Pay: $45/hour Schedule: Full-time (30+ hours/week): Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Contract role Job Overview: An autonomous vehicle company is hiring a CDL A Driver Tester to operate and test semi-trucks and other vehicles with advanced driver-assistance and self-driving technology. This role combines professional driving with testing and feedback for engineering teams. What You’ll Do: - Safely operate semi-trucks, straight trucks, and passenger vehicles - Test driver-assist and self-driving features (on-road and closed course) - Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs) - Provide detailed feedback on vehicle performance - Assist with additional vehicle tasks when needed Requirements: - Valid CDL A license and medical card - 5+ years of Class A tractor-trailer experience - Experience driving and backing 53’ trailers - Clean driving record - Ability to pass DOT requirements (drug test, MVR, physical) - Able to pass background check and road test - Comfortable driving for long periods - Willing to travel up to 50% Driving...
