Overview The Paramedic functions as a primary provider of advanced prehospital emergency medical care and transportation. Working with autonomy, Paramedics are responsible for patient care decisions, scene management, and ensuring high-quality clinical documentation. This position demands critical thinking, physical endurance, and the ability to perform in high-stress environments, often with limited support. - Not a remote eligible position - Non-Exempt position: Employees must be clocked in and physically present at the assigned station to be considered in work status. Responsibilities: Independent Clinical & Operational Functioning: - Provide unsupervised basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) care. - Make autonomous decisions during assessment and treatment. - Operate in the ambulance independently as either a driver or patient care provider. - Perform additional responsibilities as required or assigned by leadership to support departmental operations, patient care initiatives, quality improvement, or organizational goals.
