Medical Assistant I - Ambulatory Float Pool, Star Squad - ( 2602338 ) Description Minimum Qualifications: High School or equivalent. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program. CPR Certification required. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Two years of ambulatory or critical care experience. Job Summary: To provide technical, supportive, age specific and developmentally appropriate patient care functions for assigned clinical area. Job Duties: Salary Range: Actual salary commensurate with experience. - Assists with patient flow within assigned outpatient clinic setting. - Responds in a timely manner to call-lights. - Provides comfort measures to patient / family. - Performs technical and supportive patient care skills, incorporating the patient's plan of care and following approved policy and procedure. - Obtains vital signs.
