Legal Counsel

Job description

As Legal Counsel I, you will support the legal team by providing advice and assistance on a wide range of legal matters, with a focus on the business operations of SNC. Your support will include contract negotiation, compliance, and intellectual property law activities. Legal support will generally be provided independently. Legal Counsel I may be a subject matter expert in a particular area of law and/or take on responsibilities overseeing outside counsel on discrete matters. Our team is responsible for government affairs, international strategy, international business, and trade and regulatory compliance. We provide strategic guidance across the organization, helping to find alignment and compliance between SNC and the national security priorities of the U.S. government. Responsibilities: Provide legal advice on business matters to mitigate risks and develop solutions. Provide subject-specific support on advanced legal issues. Prepare, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
