The Advanced Practice Provider I is responsible for assessing patient needs and assisting in the implementation of patient care under the direction of the department Medical Director and department Nurse Director or supervising physician. Reports to: Job Specific Responsibilities Daily assignments may include but are not limited to: - Participates in multidisciplinary rounds and ensures appropriate quality care for assigned patients. - Performs procedures approved by Medical Director and documents accordingly in patient’s progress notes - Provide coordination of care and education for patient and family support - Develops treatment goals consistent with patient’s condition and appropriately orders post op/ post injury care including but not limited to activities, diet, medications, etc… - Communicates updates to the patient and/or family members regarding plan of care, discharge plans, and decreases of stay. - All other assigned duties related to patient care Education and Experience: - Graduated from an accredited school of nursing....
