We are seeking dedicated Port Operatives to join us working rotational shifts to help us ensure efficient and effective operation of our Containers terminal! Your Role: In this role you will work within a team to carry out operations efficiently, effectively and in a safe manner. Ensuring on-time delivery of planned activity, continuous flow of productivity and high customer satisfaction levels. You will start as Entry Level Port Operative (Shiphand, a labouring role) undertaking an NVQ Level 2 in Port Operations, with the expectation to progress into other roles, which may include: - Tug Driver - Straddle Carrier Operator - Fork Lift Truck Driver - Gantry Crane Operator - Hatch Clerk What you'll bring: You will: Successful candidates will be required to complete a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, prior to starting along with Manual Handling and Working at Height training assessments during your training period. - Have excel...
